Taking Chances I’d Find

Photobucket

taking chances
i’d find the one grain
misplaced or missing,
does not matter,
for, my quest is to find
the sole
it adheres to

on this journey, i’ve discovered
my soul’s imprint in everything i’m drawn to
i never realized how one ingrained piece of me
could be found in so many places, in so many people i talk with,
that grain of me is in the scenery i stare at and breathe.

my soul is the grain of sand that happens to be
in the sole of your footprints,
so that i may follow them
to bring me here
to find
you.

  2. Thanks Sandra, knew you see that (but again, the picture wasn’t posted on the HOME page, did you see the graphic? Click the title to see it. >hugs from me to you!<

  3. I just love this poem…the chances we take and the discoveries made in the process are I think how we find love.

  4. It sure is, Charles! One grain gets met, discarded until the next grain stumbled upon… before you know it, you’ve got a whole sandbox full of places you’ve been to, people you have met, experiences experienced… then….
Eureka! At least that’s how it goes in fairy tales! 😉 Denise
