A Summer’s Mist Review
– A Villanelle –

……..cornflower blue in A Minor
…………………….string quartet – dulcimer, guitar, mandolin, ukelele

 …………………….. dance:wistful

it is cornflower blue, a provocative hue
the morning dew and heat rising
still, stagnate above, a summer’s mist review

small, intuitive flowers, a fairy-ring or two
beckons small unobtrusive insects – future analyzing
amongst cornflower blue, a provocative hue

tell-tale signs, rounded arrow-shaped; a clue
wild strawberries soon, end of may revising
stagnantly still, a summer’s mist review

mushrooms and menehune construe
building nightdreams and daydreams, always devising
cornflower blue… a provocative hue

small intuitive wildflowers – Without Further Ado –
awakening! unfolding! surprising!
despite still stagnation, a summer’s mist review

morning dew, begin afresh, start anew.
revealing colours, alluring colours ever so tranquilizing.
a provocative hue, cornflower blue.
stagnant still amidst this summer’s mist view.
